queen of the night flowers is the passion project of Madalene Chu whose love of flowers first grew while helping her mother make church arrangements in their home in western Sydney. Maddie’s Vietnamese name is Quỳnh Như and she was named after the queen of the night dragon fruit flower which only blooms at night.

After a career as a writer and stylist for magazines she decided to go back to her first love and became a florist in 2011. Since then she has worked in beautiful boutique stores and flower studios across the inner city and Eastern Suburbs where she was lucky enough to work with premium blooms and create striking and unique designs. queen of the night flowers is the accumulation of her experience sourcing the sometimes strange and beautiful with her eye for creating one of a kind arrangements and her desire to make bespoke floral designs available to those in her home in the western suburbs of Sydney and beyond.
